The next ECR will take place onsite & online in Vienna on March 4–8, 2026. The ECR is one of the largest medical meetings in Europe and the second-largest radiological meeting in the world. ECR attendees span all areas of the radiology arena including radiology professionals, radiographers, physicists, industry representatives, and press reporters for both the medical and consumer press.

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the European Congress of Radiology 2026 (ECR 2026), held under the inspiring theme ”Rays of Knowledge.” This theme beautifully captures the essence of ECR: a celebration of education at the heart of radiology. It alludes both to the “rays” of radiological imaging and the continuous “rays” of wisdom that illuminate our profession.

ECR 2026 will offer radiologists, radiographers, physicists, and physicians from all specialties the chance to expand and sharpen their expertise, earn valuable CME credits, and connect with colleagues from around the world. Reflecting current educational trends, ECR 2026 will also be available on-demand via ESR Connect, ensuring that learning is accessible and flexible for all. In addition to education, technical innovation will be a major highlight. ECR 2026 will explore the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging hardware, software, and image-guided minimally invasive procedures through expert lectures, hands-on courses and a dynamic technical exhibition.
